Nick,

That looks interesting. It’s great to see Web Designer Wall supporting the event. I was hoping that it also meant that you would be presenting. Unfortunately, that doesn’t look to be the case. Though, the sessions that are going to be happening do look very interesting. Personally, the most interesting to me is “Getting Started with jQuery By: John Resig.” It really is a to-die-for opportunity for any fellow Web Designer to learn about jQuery from the master himself. That’s why I want to go to FITC.

The thing is that there are never any events like this in Sweden so I would love to go to my first event in Toronto. It would give me a reason to travel there.

Events like this are incredible sources of knowledge and inspiration, and to be able to attend one (when it’s blatantly too expensive to attend anyway) would mean a ton for personal advancement. Not to mention, I’m born, raised and living in Toronto, so it’s only a hop, skip & jump away anyway!

I’m not sure if you’re planning on doing this either, but a “best of show” write-up detailing all the best speakers, pieces and points for all those who couldn’t attend would certainly be ideal as well!

I would really value this opportunity Nick. These conferences are such a great learning and networking experience, they are worth every penny. Unfortunately, being a freelance Graphic & Web Designer who has only been on his own for a few months, $ is tight. I’ve also never left the USA, and this would really help me break out of that shell. I got to go to an AIGA conference as a student a few years back, and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. I hope you select me, as I would maximize my time at FITC, and it would really make a difference for me in my early professional career. – Thanks, Chase

I have been a designer for awhile and about a year ago the idea of designing and developing for the internet really interested me. So, since then i have been going crazy everything I do revolves around it. I subscribe to WDW, TWIT, REV 3, BOAGWORLD, CHRIS COYIER, and a million others. I can’t seem to get enough and then i saw the the opportunity to check out FITC but saw the price tag and became extremely let down. I just want to be more involved, I must learn more. I feel that this would be a great way to it. Think about it, and thank you so much for the chance at these tickets.

I’m a freelance web and graphic designer / tech girl from Vancouver and I’d absolutely love to attend this event – the presentations look very interesting and I’d love to see David Carson speak – not only does he rock but he’s totally inspiring. Please please please keep me in mind for a ticket. :) Thank you!

FEMALE TROUBLE!
I am lucky enough to work with a whole slew of amazing female designers. There are 5 of us in our small department. more than 50% female. Nice, right?
Please hook a sister up. We would gladly make the trip from NYC (those of us who can, anyway)
thanks!

I am just getting into web design and would love to attend this event. There are so many presentations I know I could gain so much information and inspiration from.
I live in Ottawa and drive to Toronto all the time to see friends (This would be a great excuse to pop in for a visit!). This ticket would NOT go to waste!
Thanks for your consideration!

I think it would be a great opportunity to be surrounded by a multitude of creative individuals and be able to experience all that creativity under one roof. It is also a great opportunity to see the latest trends all over the world as well as the different mediums and new technologies that others are using to advance in this ever changing industry. I hope you consider me for the ticket!!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity. :)

I am a budding young designer in the domain of Flash and Web Designing with endless new ideas constantly buzzing in my head. New technologies excite me. But I don’t always know how to put all the new technologies in use. Coming to FITC this year will enable me to put some of those creative ideas in their life form. I could learn to use the new technologies that FITC will surely be able to introduce me to as well as get to meet some peers from across the world

After years of chronic back pain and recurring injuries I needed to make a career change, so…. I went back to college, got a degree in Web Design, and really jumped into photography – an area I’d always enjoyed but only as an amateur. My goals are to combine graphics, photography, art, and design with a 20+ year background in Information Technology into an exciting new career. Problem is I am now 54 years old, partially disabled, with no experience and I really need an edge. FITC could go a long way in giving me that edge and I’d appreciate the consideration – Thank You!

I reeeeally and truly want, need, have to go to FITC 09! I currently, work in Saint Louis as an Interactive Art Director at a mid-size advertising agency. I bring lots of ambition in everything I do and have a constant desire to learn all that I possibly can about the industry that I love. Being from the good ol’ Midwest, I have not visited Canada…. yet. Please give me the opportunity to do so!
