Simplicity and minimalism is a double sword edge only enjoyed by proclaimed and famous. Us mortals would be called lazy.
“trust me I can design…I only choose to make my site look like b&w newspaper add” - is very hard pitch to have unless you enjoy the statue or have an amazing portfolio behind it.
