Best of CSS Design 2009

Since 2007, every year I do a round up of best of CSS from Best Web Gallery (check out 07 and 08 collection). Well, it is the time of the year again — Best of CSS Design 2009. This year I’ve selected another 50 nicely designed web sites. Among the list, I notice a lot of them are minimalistic design with beautiful serif fonts. The grungy and sketchy styles are still strong. However, the large background is no longer as hot as in 2008, instead, texturized background is popular in 2009.

It is unfortunate that these designs are not archived in somewhere because it would be great to see them forever. Lot of these designs of 2009 are no longer available

Very impressed! This ia a very good list of CSS Designs. I especially liked: Trent Walton, Square space, Book cover archive, Work at Play, and Paravel. They seen so modern and creative. This is just the kind of thing that attracts people and intrigues them to go through the website. When involving business websites; this is extremely important. If more business websites took the time to make their business site more appealing using different and modern design concepts; this would attract more visitors; thus increasing potential clients.
